“PRESENCE: The Art of Disappearing” WEEKEND EXPERIENCE:
SEDONA, ARIZONA- Saturday & Sunday March 24 & 25

PRESENCE: The Art of Disappearing
who these events are for:
you. anyone and everyone. no previous experience in anything is preferred. these events are ALL about YOU. they are about infusing your life with more depth, more acute awareness, forgiveness, more love for self and others, and, of course, expression: tapping into the core of being and allowing more of what is natural and abundant to come through. if you feel at all stuck in your life or in your creative process, there is plenty here to help you un-stick and flow.
how we do it:
through a variety of activities, most of them geared toward encouraging free expression, we get in touch with our PRE-CREATIVE CORE which releases our “flow”. we experience “the zone”, the “state of presence”. we experience many moments of transcending our ego-based, self-limiting consciousness and play in the realms of pure expression. fully immersed in presence without the inner critic controlling us, in essence, we “disappear”.
what it is and what it isn’t:
“retreat”: these are NOT a retreats. i do not encourage anyone to RETREAT from their lives. if you have to “retreat” from your life, then you’re “losing”, in which case you could definitely use this experience.
“seminar”: yes, there are times when these events are like “seminars”. i do my share of talking, actually i “channel” (but i don’t switch out personalities and i don’t speak in an indian/irish accent). what i do is OPEN and BE as vulnerable and unfiltered as possible when sharing perspectives and insights. through the process, i learn as much as anyone.
“workshop”: if you are willing to WORK on yourself, these can be very effective “workshops”. there’s a lot of transformation, release and revelation that occurs in these events. overall, i wouldn’t call it “work” any more than i would call my life “work”. it’s actually fun, a joy. work doesn’t feel like work when it’s inspired. if your “work” isn’t inspired, maybe we can change this.
“playshop”: sure. a cute expression for “playing in the sandbox”, and yes, we DO play. and our play is related to learning and growing, and our learning and growing is related to our play. and if you’ve lost a sense of playfulness, or if growing isn’t fun, check out gifting yourself one of these events.
“symposium”: there are times when i throw out a topic and we discuss it symposium style. gaining perspectives from members of the group is enriching and bonding. what i don’t tolerate is “catharting” at the expense of the group. this is NOT a forum for public processing.
“transformational experience”: i like this expression. the events are experientially based with plenty of hands-on experience. we express, we explore, we introspect, we create, we play, we share. we dance, we paint, we write, we meditate, we forgive, we discuss, we laugh.
“lifeshop”: yes, this term works quite well. what works for inspiration, works for life. what works for life, works for inspiration. in short, what we do in the events is geared toward infusing everyone’s life with more vitality, clarity, enthusiasm, depth, courage, compassion and expression.
It’s difficult to describe these “experiences” in order to inspire people to participate. (I guess that’s called “marketing”.) The format does not follow anything else out there. The material and exercises spring from my own well of creativity. The closest thing I have seen in perspective alone is “Oprah’s Masterclass”, or Don MIguel Ruiz’ “The Mastery of Love”.
No artistic skill or experience is required for these “experiences” to have a profound impact on one’s life. Activities include journalling, writing, drawing, painting, movement and dancing, photography, simple sculpture and in the 5-day, ceramics. Everything is conducted in an non-intimidating atmosphere of mutual trust and support. Every day is an all-day, 9-5 immersion with a break for lunch.
Let me just add this: if you feel drawn to try the two-day or the five-day experience, try it. If for any reason at the conclusion of the experience, you are not feeling satisfied with the gains in the “seeds” you have acquired, I will return 100% of your tuition.

“The best week of my life! This 5-day workshop changed so many of my life patterns. I have taken MANY seminars/workshops but none have gone so deep and added so much to my world!”
“My heart has been cracked wide open. A life altering five days for me. I feel as if my 5 senses have been reborn and my eyes have been cleaned to see the brilliance even more clearly.”
“An ‘E-Ride’ at Disneyland to say the least. Exhilarating, fun, festive and adventurous. I should have been doing all my life what I learned, absorbed and am digesting from this week.”
“Expansive, insightful, inspirational and more! Beyond -beyond! It felt like a safety net for expression, releasing, being engaged in the moment, and immersed in various art forms- with fun hands-on opportunities! It was real, honest, a caring, warm, and loving space to be involved in and a part of!”
“In my wildest imagination, I could not ever have imagined the profound effect I am still feeling. It isn’t anything I’ve ever felt before. I suddenly feel like my Heart has been cracked WIDE open allowing more Life and LOVE and Beauty in than I’ve ever experienced before.”

CHRIS SPHEERIS- RECORDING ARTIST/PHOTOGRAPHER/WRITER/FACILITATOR That’s me. I have had a wonderful, dream career in the music business for decades. Through this, I have sampled fame, wealth, and success. Far more rewarding than any of these is the inspiration I feel on a daily basis: the wonder and amazement, the joy and amusement, the fun and adventure of being alive. I have been told that i possess a gift of inspiring people with my work and the energy that i carry. It’s a gift available to all of us and the nature of this gift is that it’s contagious and meant to be shared. I now am on fire with a passion for sharing this gift. That’s what these experiences are all about. Since the first 5-day in sedona in May of 2011, i am experiencing significant acceleration in my own creativity, manifestation, peace of mind, confidence, and means of imparting information on all of this.
TUITION: $295 ($100 non-refundable) AFTER PAYMENT, WE WILL CONTACT YOU TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE EMAIL: inspiration@chrisspheeris.com

SOME COMMENTS I HAVE RECEIVED FROM INSPIRED LISTENERS:
“As a tv producer, I find your music a unique and distinctive sound… A blend of energy and elegance that can’t be characterized in a standard musical category..soothing yet uplifting” - George Veras- PRODUCER/DIRECTOR- YANNI LIVE AT THE ACROPOLIS/TRIBUTE/LIVE AT ROYAL ALBERT HALL
“Your music takes me on musical journey though the sounds of worlds I have yet to visit.”- Steve Dixon- TOUR MANAGER BRITTANY SPEARS/JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
“Your work was so inspirational to me. The music allowed me the ability to illustrate myself through movement and expose the true self that may have been hidden from mostly everyone else. Musically I find I have a deep connection to all the music that you have recorded and composed for it comes from an honest and passionate place within your heart and truly expresses what is in my mind and heart. You have this beautiful gift of allowing the listener to feel each note as it were to be a word, that is part of a sentence, of a story, coming from your memory which each of us can relate to on our own personal level. Your music has a spiritual connection to it that makes it comforting and familiar with gentleness and passion that is uplifting without being overbearing.” – Jerry Opdenaker- DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER for O DANCE Dance Company
“When I write (now 3 books) your music seems to allow my conscious mind to be fully absorbed in the sound and rhythm so my more unconscious writer mind can let the words flow out. Your music is inviting of movement and inspiring to the spirit of the moment.”- Robert Mark Phd.- AUTHOR/PSYCHOTHERAPIST
“Chris’ music has helped me through major transitions in my life. Deeply emotional, motivating and sensual, it moves with and through his listeners to create a heightened state of inspiration. He is equally brilliant in his poetry, which is reminiscent of a modern day Rumi, his photography, architectural design, and his meditations. Chris is one of those rare beings for whom creativity of every kind is innate to his very essence.”- Regina Meredith- HOST/AUTHOR/ON-AIR PERSONALITY, CONSCIOUS MEDIA NETWORK
“I have been thoroughly moved by your music. After almost 20 years as an estate planning attorney, I yearn to find my creative self. I’ve started writing, regularly now, and I find that listening to your music (Enchantment, Allura, and From Where They Fall being among my favorites) helps me greatly to access the creator flowing through me. Your music has been instrumental in helping me trust the right side of my brain much more these days and to being open to unique ways in which the Great Creator speaks to me. Thank you again. ” – J.C. ATTORNEY AT LAW
